Walking into the venue, this sold out crowd are already putting their young lungs to the test and singing their hearts out to the interval music only stopping to chant 'Blake' as the lights fade. Second supporting the evening is Blake Rose who quickly proves to us that he is more than his good lucks - his ability to seamlessly pick up most any instrument and play it with ease is truly inspiring.

Entering the o2 Academy's main room mid way through Affleck's Palace opening set, it's clear to see that they are struggling to grab this crowds attention. It's a Friday night in Birmingham and this rowdy lot are ready for a night out on this town, this is simply their warm up.

We kick off the night with the wonderful Noah Kahan, a fitting support for the main act of our evening Dermot Kennedy. Noah has the ability to take up the entire stage with his voice, guitar and talent (and his small band).

It's a chilly Easter Sunday in Boston, MA but that's not stopping this lot of dedicated fans from queueing around the block for an incredible lineup. Honey Revenge kick off this sold out night with an energy that's picked up by just about everyone in the audience; the duo (Devin Papadol & Donovan Lloyd) treat us to our first song of the evening with their latest single 'Airhead' and it goes down an absolute storm.

A speedy 30 minutes after the doors open, the queue that once snaked around the building has made it's way into the venue; the lights dim and a dance track fills the room as we wait for our first act on the night to enter the stage. Starbenders are a high energy glam rock band who know exactly how to get a crowd on their side and warm everyone up for what we're about to experience.

This Friday night in Leicester might be cold enough for you to not feel your toes, but that certainly isn't the case in the o2 Academy. 8:30pm is where this evening really begins and though middle act Void of Vision may be a little heavier than you'd expect for a Holding Absence support, the crowd are into it regardless.

It may be cold outside but it's getting hot in the 2nd room of Leicester's o2 Academy this evening. Second support comes courtesy of Heriot - a heavy far cry from what we're about to witness from Boston Manor but that doesn't stop this crowd from loving it.

It's a busy evening in Birmingham on this cold November night meaning I, among many, are running late but as I enter the o2 Institute's jam packed room, this audience are singing their hearts out to Teenage Dirtbag by Weezer & Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson and let any of us who missed the support know what we're in for tonight.
